The Beaumont and District Agricultural Society and the Clearwater Valley Pony Club are hosting a clinic and derby weekend

Saturday May 15th:

Show Jumping Clinic with Billi Solverson (1 hour) and Cross-country Clinic with Kathy Playdon (1 ˝ hour)

The Stadium portion of the clinic will give riders an opportunity to school the types of fences, including gates and fill, that will be offered at the event. The schooling will take place over a course but not the actual course that will be built for the event.

Groups will be according to height entered

Cost. $75 per participant. 1 hour Stadium + 11/2 hr Cross Country.

All fees payable to Clearwater Valley Pony Club.

Entries to be received no later than Friday May 8th to allow sufficient time to make up a schedule.

Note: The clinic will go rain or shine, so caulk/dress according to weather conditions.

Fun Schooling Derby (combined test)

• Offering 5 divisions:
• Trot a trail
• Pre-entry
• Entry
• Pre-training
• Training

Show jumping course, straight into a shortened but technical cross-country course, with pace and optimum time. Penalties will be incurred according to EC rules (with the exception of the rider fall amendment)

First round $60...optional 2nd round for $20

Results will be tallied –single round only or best of two rounds.
